Preston Bang is from Pass Christian, Mississippi. He is a student at Mississippi State University, where he studies Animal and Dairy Science with a focus on Production Management and Economics. This summer, he is interning at Plum Thicket Farms near Gordon, Nebraska.
He applied to the Sandhills Ranch Internship Program to learn about different practices and gain new experiences.

What has been the favorite part of your internship?
"My favorite part has been using horses to move cattle."
What have you grown to appreciate about the Sandhills?
"I have grown to appreciate the size of the pastures in the Sandhills. Back home the pasture are small."
