Nielsen Ranch

Kaden Bonini is from Curtis, Nebraska, and attends the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, where he is pursuing an Associate's Degree in Ag Production Systems with an emphasis in Livestock Industry Management. He will be completing his internship at the Nielsen Ranch near Gordon.

Agriculture has played a significant role in Kaden’s background and experiences. He has worked in his family’s feedlot operation, where his responsibilities included managing a processing crew, checking cattle, welding iron fencing, operating equipment, and entering cattle records into computer systems, as well as caring for horses. These experiences have helped him develop a broad skill set and a strong work ethic.

Kaden's involvement in organizations such as the NCTA Collegiate Cattlemen, the NCTA Rodeo Team, Future Farmers of America (FFA), and the UNK Ag-Business Club has equipped him with leadership skills and knowledge about the livestock industry.

Kaden pursued this internship experience to gain insight into different ranch operations and to learn new ideas and practices that will aid him in his future career in agriculture. With a desire for hands-on experience and continuous learning, he looks forward to building skills and gaining experiences that will benefit him throughout his ranching career.
