About the event

Experienced prescribed fire practitioners will mentor participants on implementing prescribed fire, from lighting

the match to mopping up. Skills to be covered:

Ignition devices and patterns
Wet lining and other holding techniques
How to communicate effectively using radios
What to expect before, during, and after a burn
