Partnership Roundtable Workshop
In 2004 and again in 2007 the Sandhills Task Force hosted a weeklong class for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biologists. The purpose of the course was to learn better ways to partner with private landowners for the benefit of wildlife and the landowner.
Each class had about 15 biologists and administrators from throughout the nation. The course involved spending the morning in a classroom setting and meeting with ranchers who had done conservation projects with the Sandhills Task Force.
The course provided good interaction between ranchers, Fish and Wildlife Service employees and other organizations the Sandhills Task Force partners with. A photo essay of the 2004 workshop can be viewed at this hyperlink.
